Most common foods nowadays are so bad for you its ridicilous

To be fair, you can make healthier versions of the things you like, the main reason so many things have so much garbage is for A) shelf stabilization, B)to prolong freshness, and C)to cut corners financially. In general though it's better to cut them out completely. Homemade Ice cream can be made from nothing but raw sugar, vanilla extract/paste/bean, organic cream and egg yolk, and whatever flavor you wanna give it. Not particularly healthy, but also not going to kill you like too much of the other stuff will. Also, a small amount of the bad cheap stuff now and hten won't absolutely ruin your health. It's just about moderation, ehich some people don't understand. Also, eew, Ben and Jerry's is shit tier ice cream, just liek blue bell, bastards use high fructose corn syrup. I make most of my ice cream at home, or buy haagen dazs only because they have more flavors that I like and don't always wanna make at home.

This thread is pretty damn legit. Though I will say that despite all of this added shit into the food people are living longer despite rising obesity rates and we're all going to die eventually and it's really hard to avoid ALL of the added BS (not to mention it can be expensive).

OP, it sounds like you eat the paleo diet/go mostly low carb. How do you feel about things like rice and potatoes? In the fitness community carbs are the devil, but I don't buy into that BS.

Everything you said is probably legit.After all brain cells use glucose as fuel.
But shitty sweets are full of sugar and other garbage.
You should take 5% of total calorie intake in form of sugar which is around 30 gr of sugar.Every sweet is around 40% of its mass sugar.
Eat 100 gr of any sweet and you get 40gr of sugar from eating it.Along with that,every food like bread has sugar too.Its too easy to exceed daily limit multiple times ..

Diet is mostly cope, aside from eating mostly organic, eating a good amount of plants and eating nutrient rich stuff like red meat and eggs several times a week, not having micronutrient deficiencies, there isn’t much more you can do.
Chad eats sweets and pizza and beer during puberty but still has low estrogen and highish-T and pristine development
