There have been no studies providing more than 2g per kg bodyweight is "better", however, everything up to 2 is.

I guess fruits aren't a problem, unless you're on a severe cutting diet. But eat them around your training hours preferably

Whole wheat anything, white rice, and potatoes are the best carbs. Fruits are aite for desert and stuff

The amount of protein you need is greatly over exaggerated. The only people who should be consuming anywhere near 1g of protein per 1lb of mass are athletes that are incredibly lean. Even more laughable, some people have recommended 250-300g of protein daily (nearly 2g per/lb), which is absolutely ludicrous.

The average gym goer only needs 80-100g of protein in a day. You're not going to even get CLOSE to muscle break down with an average everyday Joe's work out. So many people are worried about "over-training" or "muscles being used as energy" etc. It takes a FUCK ton of work in the gym; HOURS of fasted training to induce your body to begin muscle break down as a source for energy. You need not worry about any of that, as I've seen one person on here mention fasted training other than me (sorry, I forgot the name) so protein is irrelevant.

I've actually INDUCED myself to this - unless your urine looks like this you're absolutely fine.

there are south pacific islanders way bigger than you who grew up on 15g of protein a day (apply common sense here). those ridiculously high requirements recommended today were influenced by the meat industry during the 1920'ties, then the fitness industry during the 80'ties.

as a reference human breast milk contains ~6% protein and that amount is sufficient enough to sustain the most rapid period of growth in our lives.

im at 70-80 grams a day.
carbs are the GOAT imo. especially on training days. cant get enough of those fukers.
