The user RetractedMaxilla just posted his blood results. First, this is how the user RetractedMaxilla looks:

EDIT: USER DIDNT WANT HIS PICS HERE

Pencil neck, no masculine features. Not really what you would call a "testosterone beast". Ok, however, his blood results show something else:

Image

Total testosterone: 31nmol. This is translated to: 900ng/dl. This is quite alot for a 25 year old in this day and age, especially when you look like that (no effence).

It seems like you cannot read ones testosterone levels in his face, if anything you could maybe read his levels in the vomb, but thats about it.

T levels help but alot of it is still gonna be genetics. IE say you have 2 brothers, one High-T and one low-T. They will still have very similar traits in the face regardless. How you look as a baby is a better indicator of testosterone levels.

Lol, retard.

what matters is free testosterone, and his level is rather unimpressive

900 ng/dl total serum isn't particularly great either.

Besides, estradiol has a big say as well. If estradiol is on the high, it'll inhibit any masculinizing effect.

don't forget free testosterone is what's correlated with bone mass, and estradiol negatively.

total test doesn't matter

Uh NO, his free tests is 600, reference is between 100-something and 700, its rather HIGH.
And yes 900ng/dl is good levels, vaste majority of men do dont have that, thats in the top of the reference range.

the reference range is a joke. if you tested rugby players the range would go to 1500 ng/dl instead.

cruelfate wrote:I've never read any of the studies but I remember on some documentary these rugby athletes were being tested for T levels and beforehand everyone guessed who would be in what group (high, low etc.) based on appearance and everyone was surprised by some of the results.

that's because rugby players are notorious steroid users. the brutes who turned out "low t" probably did so because they were on anabolics and thus had shut down endogenous testosterone production

or maybe the twinks were injecting testosterone as to make up for their physical inferiority.

You can't trust tests involving a fucking rugby team, steroid galore

Uh no, the reference range is everything but a "joke", its based on what most males levels are, IE 150 - 730, in this case, so few have as high as 600, as op does, which you would not expect looking at his face.

well put

Also what matters most is pubertal testosterone. Adult T has little correlation with face.

Also reactive T matters more than baseline T.

exactly, and reactive T is attractive because it signals a well functioning endocrinal output system. There's no use for testosterone if youre not doing testosteronical activities. The important thing is that testosterone rises when it is supposed to = competing for women, competing in physical sports/confrontations

Doent prenatal T matter most?

FWHr and facial masculinity are only strongly correlated with reactive testosterone, not baseline.

Baseline T doesn't matter.

Also cortisol and estrogen counteract the effects of testosterone. If u have high T and high C it will not masculenize you

Testosterone was not correlated with masculinity.
