Because what you do doesn't matter so much as who you are. YOU are the conduit of your value. Being attractive > being conventional. Women like convention breakers IF they have primal capital enough to pull society to their conventions. An undercurrent of the sculpt of your features/ looks/ abilities/ position that dominate the world around you. This is the real source of the status women want.
White knighting/ PUA tactics are done for girls on the basis of the value we like. By that logic we CAN'T expect girls to treat us based on differing factors than WE are THEM. Which are, dominarchical prospects, superficialism, libido.
Hell, body proportions that are good for survival give us boners/ fuckwants. It's written into our instincts to carnally desire power. Even if we're not just looking at it through unfeeling rationally reflective calculations.
