There's also an evolutionary reason. We evolved from tribal groups numbering around 100 individuals and so that is the optimal number we can deal with. Desmond Morris in his book touched lightly on it, noting that if you took any city dweller, and went through the people he knew who he can socialise with, it would be near this number.
Often in tribal groups there was elitism. An us vs. them mentality. Essentially who you choose ot let in, and who you don't has a layer of supremacy/ violence/ distaste when you fall towards the lesser pillar. Of course there's love and kinship with a tribe. But who falls out of that usually gets met with darkness. Just look around you to see the truth, and how this thesis/ semantical slant outweighs all other forms of clarification. Look at all other forms of clarification and see how much of a wishful whimsical twist it is.
I suppose what we can infer from this is that people are not egalitarian at all. If everyone valued everyone else the same there would be no need for this selectivity.
When people talk about love, brotherhood, communion that's only so far as it serves their self interests. We only have limited mental capacity to deal with so many people, so rather than thinly spread our attentions all over the place, we focus on those who would be worth our time and resources to engage in, and I'm almost certain it's down to primality factors.
I had a dream last night that a cat was dying on the street, and told me it wanted to die, at least that's what the fleas on its body should think it should do. I felt like helping it but then my hands would get dirty, it may be one of those fucked up dreams where it turns into a flurry of flies that devour me when I pick it up. I don't feel like letting my bath get dirty and going to the vet. I could have done it, but I listened to my voices of selfish preserverence. In managing the resources of comfort, security, happiness, etc. more than lending a hand out. Logistics/ Medianship/ Personal comfort/ these things are what keeps people from being noble.
Primality directive/ priority trumps almost everything. Edifice is such a rare occurence, and then even so, I'd say no one is purely edified. https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-ente ... 69859.html
Might be woman cries wolf but it still implies that what I say is true.
But there are also other games people play: the girl who already has a boyfriend but has loads of orbiters as her friends so she can status signal her desirability, men who forms friendships with females to keep their girlfriends on their toes, and the liberal retards who need the odd ethnic here and there to show everyone how progressive they are. . . but at the root of it all is human selfishness and needing to project some sense of self worth to others whilst at the same time barring those not desirable.
People play the primality probing game with people, and then when they know about how much primality currency debt they have, and their method/ manner of removing it, then people begin to manipulate it. It's a donkey and a carrot, and often they get the donkey to do their dishes and pay their mortgage before it's all over. You have to be a comforting cushion, and a tightrope at the same time. Comforting so that they don't feel you are so detrimental that investing/ vying for your favor will lead to the detriment of something they feel is more essential than social status. And a tightrope so as to represent your place on the hierarchy/ medium of interest that people want to see for themselves -- Elevated as a primal prodigy. Often, and I know it sounds crazy, but women will put a man/ primal capital she seeks from him ahead of her own personal safety/ even when there's a gun on her pussy she'll still probably try. Which says a LOT about beta orbiters. About how ineffective their efforts are, and how primal/ tyrannoficial centric women are. (Tyranno ficial means tyrannical over the surface of the world/ putting no emphasis on what is immaterial).
But you also have to be the tightrope that represents that you still have an otherworldly obscurity to who you are, one that can't be controlled, one with the grandeur of an otherworldly entity that has the power/ impetus to get things they want and bring reality to their level. Who sets the temperature of the room/ atmosphere/ lets people know who they are in relation to you. And that people will perceive as indicative of an oppressor with the primal momentum in relation to the intellectual grasp/ gleaning and the way people dimension you on the darwinian/ competitive hierarchy. One that people can't find any foreseeable medium to be controlled/ abused/ taken advantage of. Where people are constantly under the impression of his primal shadow and only have the slimiest/ weaseliest weapons to use, but none of true martial honor or primal merit in a face to face darwinial arena. People want this MORE than their mates being a good person. This is the inner darwinality of mankind put before us. This is what most people would rather have than to have true communionality with people.
It's impossible to ever believe there was an era in whcih peopel really wanted true friendships. People want to expand their ego/ prominence passively in life. They can't just have everything be stilled into serenity and harmony. Greed is ever present and dispersed and will conduit to people trying to get ahead of one another, for narcissistic and darwinial superiority pleasure. This is what people truly want.
Like gaston in beauty and the beast. The real monster of that entire story is the town who elevates gaston to the level of power that he gets to. That movie is about the science of beauty and how that trait comes to esteem. While Bella was edified in finding beauty in the beast, the entire town was primified.
